Job Overview

The Production Manager is a pivotal role in the production process of print and POS displays.

This position requires effective collaboration with team members and other departments to deliver client projects that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Establish a collaborative environment to discuss upcoming projects and requirements, promoting open communication and synergy.
  • Demonstrate expertise in production management and be comfortable answering questions and finding solutions.
  • Process Improvement
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives to line managers or wider teams, providing advice on strategic campaigns.
Communication Strategy:
  • Provide regular visibility on day-to-day topics to line managers and wider teams, focusing on finding synergies and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Tailor messages to respective audiences to ensure feedback and output are received as required.
  • Campaign Management
  • Manage low to medium complexity briefs confidently, questioning each brief to ensure effective delivery.
  • Proactively communicate next steps to the SPM or TL in advance, provide regular campaign updates, and manage client expectations throughout project delivery.
  • Ensure accurate activity reports that deliver value to clients based on their reporting requirements.
  • Support the Client Services team when required, completing thorough specifications and following ways of working.
  • Analytical Skills
  • Understand the importance of data quality and its business impact, ensuring data accuracy at all times.
  • Presentation of monthly reviews highlighting key achievements, challenges, and progress against reciprocal KPI's.
  • Understand why savings are up/down and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to improve performance and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Negotiations Expertise:
  • Manage conversations with teams and suppliers to find mutually beneficial outcomes, such as savings, value engineering, quality, etc.
Essential Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in print/POS displays production management, with relevant project management and supplier liaison experience considered positively.
  • Industry background or education will be strongly positive.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
Role Requirements:
  • Be available to work on client sites or at the Indicia Worldwide office in Sydney for a minimum of 3 days per week, based on client requirements.
  • Occasional travel to conferences or client events may be required.
  • Whilst contracted hours are 9.00am to 5:30pm, Mon – Fri, the project-based nature of the role may require working outside these hours, with time recovered in other moments.
