Electrical Instrumentation Specialist

This is a key role in our Energy business, working closely with colleagues across the globe to drive positive change in cities and communities.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation specialist to join our growing Energy practice in Australia. As a member of our diverse team, you will contribute to the growth of the group and play a vital role in maintaining and further developing our presence in this space.

You will be responsible for contributing to business development, team leadership and development, thought leadership and research, client engagement, technical oversight of deliverables and project financial performance.

Our team brings together experts from various disciplines, including renewables, eGrid, nuclear, oil & gas and other related areas. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to collaborate on innovative projects and develop solutions that make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the electrical, instrumentation and control design scope
  • Incorporating primary & secondary systems coordination, station SCADA, station electrical services, information, communications and telecommunications (ICT)
  • Cooordination of building services contractor electrical and security / access control scope
  • Manage and mentor 2-3 direct reports

Requirements:

  • High Voltage Substation / Transmission experience across AC and DC systems
  • Australian (Victorian / Tasmanian) transmission market experience highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments
  • Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions
