Electrical Instrumentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to leverage their technical expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.

As an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical instrumentation systems in various hazardous environments. You will work closely with our team to design, install, and maintain complex instrumentation systems that meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent technical knowledge and skills in electrical instrumentation, including transmitter calibrations, valve stroking and calibrations, transmitter replacements, and trip testing (ESD). You must also have strong problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 2 years previous experience in instrumentation, preferably in gas plant construction and/or operations
  • Strong understanding of safe working principles and techniques in hazardous atmospheres/locations
  • Current WA or QLD electrical license and certificate III or IV in instrumentation
  • EEHA certification and low voltage rescue, working at heights, EWP, white card, and confined space certifications
