Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Fibrous Insulation Cavity Wall Plaster Installer in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-job site inspections to identify potential issues
  • Efficiently vacuum roof spaces to ensure a clean working environment
  • Inspect roof and ceiling damage to assess the extent of work required
  • Evaluate completed work to guarantee high-quality results
  • Cut and install insulation materials to meet energy-efficient standards
  • Drill walls for the installation of wall insulation, ensuring precise calculations
  • Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, adhering to Australian Building Code standards
  • Provide training to staff on the Stewart Energy Fibremaster Supafill machine
  • Calculate insulation volumes required for energy-efficient R2.1 ratings
  • Develop drilling configurations for cavity walls, optimizing efficiency
  • Maintain gutters and install leaf stoppers and ventilators to prevent water damage

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrate determination, tenacity, and resilience in overcoming challenges
  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to work hard to achieve results
  • Possess experience in insulation work, including fibrous insulation and cavity wall applications
  • Hold a full driver's license, enabling travel to job sites
