Job Title: Telecommunications Rigger Perth
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced telecommunications rigger to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for upgrading and modifying existing wireless telecommunications sites, including mobile and broadcast systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing work at heights and installing mobile/broadcast antenna systems, Remote Radio Units (RRUs), feeders, and Microwave Links
- Installing and erecting steelwork, monopoles, towers, etc., as required on both Greenfield and Brown Field sites
- Conducting PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault analysis, terminating feeders, bird-proofing, and waterproofing connectors
- Installing and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers
- Checking, maintaining, and operating equipment in compliance with safety, efficiency, and calibration procedures
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Possession of a current Certificate in Rigging (Basic minimum)
- Familiarity with earthing requirements
- Working at heights certification and Tower Rescue certification, with the ability to comfortably operate at heights regularly
- Solid knowledge of telecommunication rigging techniques and adherence to best practices
- RadHaz EME Awareness
- MR or HR License preferred
The ideal candidate will be able to work away from home and on weekends.
