Senior Financial Consultant

This position is responsible for overseeing the development of funding and charging model options for government services in collaboration with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with client agencies and treasury to gather feedback and support implementation feasibility, benefits, and challenges.
Main Responsibilities- Create, build and/or evaluate financial models, including scenario analysis, to support funding requests in business cases and treasury submissions.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify costs and benefits for business cases, ensuring provision of financial expertise throughout cost-benefit analysis and business case submissions.
- Develop and maintain relevant data insights and reporting to refine activity-based costing/ pricing to ensure financial and/or service delivery performance against organisational outcomes, objectives and plans.
About You:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in designing, building and/or evaluating financial models, including scenario analysis. The ideal candidate will have excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills with the confidence to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. They will also possess superior written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for reports, presentations and business documentation.
