Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing
\Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced nursing professional to lead the planning, coordination, and direction of evidence-based nursing services within Operations Mackay and relevant portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional expertise and nursing leadership to ensure safe, clinically effective, and consumer-centred nursing care.
\The role involves leading a team of nurses and delegating responsibilities to support the Director of Nursing and Operations role. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in nursing management. They will also be able to provide expert guidance on quality patient outcomes and facilitate compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service standards and organisational policies and procedures.
\Responsibilities:
\- Providing professional expertise and nursing leadership for the planning, coordination, and direction of evidence-based nursing services within Operations Mackay and relevant HHS portfolios
- Leading a team of nurses and delegating responsibilities to support the Director of Nursing and Operations role
- Providing expert guidance on quality patient outcomes and facilitating compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service standards and organisational policies and procedures
Requirements:
\- Postgraduate qualification in nursing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in nursing management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
