Job Title

A Strategic EHS Leader is required to spearhead the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function for the Asia Pacific region.


">Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a proactive EHS management system that aligns with global standards and best practices.">
  • Lead the development of tracking, analysis, and assessment of global EHS metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.">
  • Provide expert advice on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) matters and emerging issues that impact the organisation.">
  • Oversee the investigation process for accidents and incidents, excluding manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement through corrective and preventive actions.">
  • Play an active role in the Global EHS team and contribute to the development of regional strategies.">
  • Proactively lead the risk management process for the region and identify opportunities for improvement.">
  • Lead the workers compensation and return-to-work program to ensure seamless recovery and productivity.">
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to relevant agencies.">
  • Contribute to emergency response planning and incident response, office ergonomics, and pandemic preparedness initiatives.">

">Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in EHS management, both strategic and operational, with a strong background in WHS legislation and global standards.">
  • Excellent knowledge of WHS laws and regulations in Australia and at least some APAC countries, including New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.">
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and capabilities to develop and implement safety management systems.">
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams, manage individuals at various skill levels, and drive business outcomes.">
  • Strong planning, execution, and organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a hybrid environment.">
