About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Network Engineer to join our team at First Focus, a leading Managed Service Provider in Australia. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and supporting our clients' and our own network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet client objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Operational Network Management and monitoring for client networks.
  • Routing, Switching, and Firewall deployment of networking technologies.
  • Provide project support as required to deliver projects across multiple clients.
  • Resolve network and service issues.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, and SD-WAN.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Requirements
  • Solid network engineering experience.
  • Current or previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  • Experience with network technologies, including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Fortigate, Unifi, Aruba, and Palo Alto.
  • Exposure to Routing, Switching, Wireless Networking, Firewalling, and advanced network security, SD-WAN, etc.
  • Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification (CCNP certification highly valued).
  • Fortinet Certifications are also valuable.
  • MS Server, Storage, and Backup experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
