Job Summary

Unisys is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer 2 to join our team. As a Field Engineer 2, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for computer-related products, including desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide on-site support to clients, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  2. Perform hardware support tasks, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, and monitors.
  3. Install and maintain PCs, along with associated accessories and peripherals, to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Test and certify PCs to ensure they meet the required standards.
  5. Provide follow-up on problems, escalations, and requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  6. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and ensure incident and request tickets are updated according to the ticketing system.
  7. Provide on-call support to ensure continuous technical assistance.
Requirements
  • NV1 Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Achieves and/or exceeds contracted customers' Service Level Agreements (SLAs), defined customer satisfaction ratings, and quarterly KPI goals.
  • Understanding of hardware and software support services.
  • Time management.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Experience in the delivery of IT support services with specified KPI's.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong focus on providing customer service, with great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
  • A keen interest in developing a career in IT.
