Job Description

The role of Environmental Risk Advisor is responsible for coordinating environmental risk management and compliance activities within a municipal context.

  • Lead the implementation of processes to ensure environmental systems and procedures are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Develop and continuously improve environmental management practices.

This position works closely with internal stakeholders to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver strong environmental management of municipal operations.

The successful candidate will possess degree-level qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a similar field, coupled with experience in managing environmental issues and risks for physical assets or construction sites, including pollution risk management, contaminated land management and climate risk assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Environmental Science or Environmental Management degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in managing environmental issues and risks for physical assets or construction sites.
  • Pollution risk management, contaminated land management and climate risk assessment expertise.
