Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Coordinator to join our team. As an Environmental Coordinator, you will play a key role in providing environmental leadership and support on major infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the achievement of contracts environmental objectives and targets
  • To develop environmental project delivery documentation, including Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP), Environmental Work Method Statements (EWMS) and Environmental Control Maps (ECM)
  • To carry out regular site inspections to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CEMP/EWMS/ECM
  • To assist in coaching and mentoring personnel on environmental management by developing and delivering training programs
  • To gather data and report environmental performance
  • To ensure clear and efficient communication between personnel and stakeholders on all environmental issues
  • To identify environmental risks and propose solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline
  • Considerable skill and experience in Commonwealth and State environmental legislation
  • Knowledge of environmental constraints, issues and management principles applicable to infrastructure corridors
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
