Meat Processing Specialist

The Meat Processing Specialist is a vital role within our meat packing facility. This individual will be an integral part of the production team, responsible for safely and efficiently handling carcasses from receipt to processing.

  • Unload trucks and remove carcasses from the vehicle
  • Hang carcasses on process hooks
  • Cut, trim and slice meat to required specifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • 'Can do' mentality with no fear of hard work
  • Able to take direction and perform tasks and duties as required
  • Must be able to continuously move up to 20kgs
  • Experience working in freezer cold rooms is preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing (1 year preferred)
  • Driver's License (preferred)
  • Australian Work Authorisation (preferred)

Working Conditions:

  • Casual position with varied shifts
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Sunshine, VIC is required
