Podcast Video Editor Role

We are seeking a skilled part-time video editor based in Brisbane, AU with expertise in multi-camera video editing and exceptional attention to detail.

This role involves video editing for multiple podcasts released on a weekly basis, covering various genres such as personal development, health, business, wealth, science, comedy, and pop culture.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be confident working under deadlines, and possess excellent communication skills.

This is a mostly remote position with opportunities for on-location recording and studio setups in Brisbane and surrounding areas. We require 30 hours per week (4 days).

Responsibilities
  • Video editing of podcasts using Davinci Resolve or Descript.
  • Creating vertical video snippets for social media from long-form videos.
  • Transcribing and creating articles using Descript (training provided).
  • Uploading completed videos to applicable platforms.
  • Prompt communication with clients regarding episode status and feedback.
Requirements
  • Multi-camera video editing experience.
  • Descript experience is a bonus but not required (on-the-job training provided).
  • A strong understanding of the podcast industry and its role in video content.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.
