Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

As HCF Australia's Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you will drive cloud innovation, ensuring infrastructure superiority and strategic alignment, while fostering a DevOps culture and promoting automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of cloud specialists, responsible for AWS and Azure infrastructure services, and cultivate a DevOps culture within the team.
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and problems, ensuring solutions and services meet their requirements.
  3. Promote effective communication of technical changes to internal IT and business stakeholders.
  4. Partner with business-led development teams to understand application lifecycle challenges and design cloud platform solutions to automate and streamline processes.
  5. Establish and maintain enterprise landing zones that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  6. Ensure cloud infrastructure meets HCF Australia's security and compliance requirements, such as encryption, backup, disaster recovery, and auditing.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  2. Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure with AWS and/or Azure, with at least 5 years' experience.
  3. Proven experience leading cloud infrastructure and/or systems engineering teams.
  4. Proven experience in managing cloud automation and DevOps practices.
  5. Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to other business units.
  6. Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
