Facilities Operations Lead

Job Description
The role of Facilities Operations Lead involves overseeing the maintenance operations at a food production facility. This includes managing a team of maintenance personnel, inspecting equipment to ensure operational standards are met, and implementing methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff
- Inspect site machinery and equipment for conformance with operational standards
- Develop and implement procedures to improve operation and minimize cost
- Conduct training for new staff and monitor team performance
- Manage stakeholder relationships and report on key performance indicators
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A background in managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing or processing environment
- Experience with maintenance management software
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required
- A Forklift License (Perform High Risk Work License) and Confine Space Entry Permit/ticket
- Familiarity with plant/equipment safety and GMP practices
- Advanced computer literacy with MS applications
- Excellent communication, coaching, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
