Job Description:

The Operations Lead - Bitumen Facility is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This involves delivering high-quality products while minimizing costs and environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Develop and implement production schedules aligned to forecasting and facility capacity.
  • Facility Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, optimize throughput, monitor stock levels and supply chains, and resolve disruptions to ensure reliable service.
  • Safety and Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture by implementing HSSE protocols and driving compliance with internal systems, Australian Standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintenance and Capital Works: Supervise equipment and maintenance processes, ensuring integrity of hydrocarbon process systems and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets, track expenditures, identify cost-saving initiatives, and deliver timely financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Author scopes of work, plan, execute, and close projects on time, within budget, and according to defined objectives and quality standards.
  • Quality Management: Implement and oversee quality management systems, enforce product specifications and production controls, and support root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and third-party operators, ensuring clear communication and contractual performance.
