About the Opportunity

The Griffith City Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellbeing Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive health and wellbeing program to support the physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and implement a contemporary health and wellbeing program to promote a healthy workplace culture and support employee wellbeing.
  • Engage with staff on a regular basis to promote a strong wellbeing culture and cohesive team environment.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant documentation, reports, and datasets to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and identify trends and areas of focus.
  • Assist the Senior Wellbeing & Rehabilitation Advisor with managing WorkCover claims.

Requirements

  • A relevant Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Current QLD Rehabilitation Coordinator Certificate.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
