About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellbeing Officer to join our team at Western Downs Regional Council. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our health and wellbeing program to support the physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health and Wellbeing Program: Design and deliver a comprehensive health and wellbeing program that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Engage with Staff: Foster a strong wellbeing culture by actively engaging with staff on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Prepare and Maintain Records: Prepare, create, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and datasets to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Assist with WorkCover Claims: Collaborate with the Senior Wellbeing & Rehabilitation Advisor to proactively manage WorkCover claims.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Related Field: Hold a relevant Certificate IV or demonstrate equivalent related experience.
  • Current QLD Rehabilitation Coordinator Certificate: Possess a current QLD Rehabilitation Coordinator Certificate.
  • Current Drivers Licence: Hold a current drivers licence.
