Wellbeing Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellbeing Officer to join our team at Western Downs Regional Council. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a comprehensive health and wellbeing program to support the physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Health and Wellbeing Program: Design and deliver a contemporary and innovative health and wellbeing program that aligns with Council's initiatives to create a healthy workplace.
- Engage with Staff: Actively engage with staff on a regular and ongoing basis to promote a strong wellbeing culture and cohesive team environment.
- Prepare and Maintain Records: Prepare, create, and maintain appropriate correspondence, reports, datasets, and other records/documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and monitoring for trends and areas of focus.
- Assist with WorkCover Claims: Assist the Senior Wellbeing & Rehabilitation Advisor with proactively managing WorkCover claims.
- Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Related Field: A relevant Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
- Current QLD Rehabilitation Coordinator Certificate: Current QLD Rehabilitation Coordinator Certificate is highly desirable.
- Current Drivers Licence: Current Drivers Licence is highly desirable.
