About the Role

ENGIE is seeking a Senior Regulatory Advisor to join our Policy team, working with diverse internal and external stakeholders to power the future of energy. This is a hybrid role, located at our Freshwater Place offices in Southbank, with a focus on championing carbon-neutral energies and achieving an affordable, reliable net-zero energy system by 2045.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage ENGIE's response to proposed regulatory changes and take primary responsibility across designated subject matter areas.
  • Stay informed of market developments and government and regulator priorities, assessing potential impacts on ENGIE's and communicating potential risks internally.
  • Work with the regulatory team and business units to develop regulatory priorities, including a strategic directions plan that aims to identify and achieve change in regulations that benefit ENGIE's.
  • Develop and foster effective working relationships with industry peers, committee representatives, regulators, rule makers, and government representatives.
About You
  • Experience in a policy team within a regulated industry.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse, and address regulatory issues, in relation to the energy sector.
  • Experienced working with operational colleagues to understand regulatory change and achieve acceptable compliance outcomes.
