We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Advisor to join our Policy team at ENGIE. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our regulatory strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage ENGIE's response to proposed regulatory changes and take primary responsibility across designated subject matter areas
- Stay informed of market developments and government and regulator priorities and assess potential impacts on ENGIE's and communicate potential risks internally
- In response to risk and opportunities, work with the regulatory team and business units to develop regulatory priorities, including a strategic directions plan that aims to identify and achieve change in regulations that benefit ENGIE's
- Develop and foster effective working relationships with industry peers, committee representatives, regulators, rule makers, & government representatives
- Experience in a policy team within a regulated industry
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse and address regulatory issues, in relation to the energy sector
- Experienced working with operational colleagues to understand regulatory change and achieve acceptable compliance outcomes
