Primary Classroom Teacher Opportunity

About the Role
  • Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies and practices.
  • Cultivate strong literacy and numeracy practices, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and proven organisational skills.
  • Collaborate with peers to assess, provide feedback and report on student learning.
  • Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience in primary classroom teaching, as well as strong academic credentials and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Requirements
  • Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
