Job Description

The Home Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care within the home. This involves partnering with residents, families, and carers to meet individual needs and goals.

Key responsibilities include leading and retaining a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture aligned with the organisation's mission and values, and supporting career development, recruitment, and employee wellbeing.

The successful candidate will ensure delivery of exceptional care and service, promoting a resident-focused approach and driving quality improvements.

They will also identify and manage business risks and growth opportunities, overseeing clinical, operational, and commercial impacts of capital works, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance service delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in developing inclusive working environments through engagement, empowerment, and support of team members.

They will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability to learning and promoting new systems and policies, and a high-level understanding of the aged care sector.

The successful candidate will present with active AHPRA registration, strengths in operational knowledge, human resource issues resolution, and effective negotiation skills.

A background in project coordination and implementation, and considered commercial acumen, are also highly desirable.
