Billing/Claims Coordinator Role Overview

  • This position plays a vital role in supporting the Field Module contract with NBN Co, ensuring seamless revenue recognition and billing aligned with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Preparation and Validation

  • Revenue Recognition: Prepare accurate data for revenue recognition, aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Claim Submissions: Coordinate claim submissions and RCTI confirmations from subcontractors.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation for client claims, including Stat Decs and insurance policies.
  • Rejected Claim Resolution: Identify and resolve rejected claims, ensuring accurate resubmission to clients.
  • Cash Flow Optimization: Collaborate with Commercial, Project, and Validation teams to optimize cash flow and maintain a healthy ledger.
  • Jr. Team Guidance: Mentor junior team members in billing and collection processes.

 

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

  • Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel, particularly with XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Data Analysis: Experience working with large datasets and billing processes in operations or maintenance projects.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, logical approach, and efficient workflow management.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
