Billing/Claims Coordinator Role Overview
- This position plays a vital role in supporting the Field Module contract with NBN Co, ensuring seamless revenue recognition and billing aligned with contractual obligations.
Data Preparation and Validation
- Revenue Recognition: Prepare accurate data for revenue recognition, aligned with contractual requirements.
- Claim Submissions: Coordinate claim submissions and RCTI confirmations from subcontractors.
- Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation for client claims, including Stat Decs and insurance policies.
- Rejected Claim Resolution: Identify and resolve rejected claims, ensuring accurate resubmission to clients.
- Cash Flow Optimization: Collaborate with Commercial, Project, and Validation teams to optimize cash flow and maintain a healthy ledger.
- Jr. Team Guidance: Mentor junior team members in billing and collection processes.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise:
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel, particularly with XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP functions.
- Data Analysis: Experience working with large datasets and billing processes in operations or maintenance projects.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, logical approach, and efficient workflow management.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
