Market Analysis Specialist

The role involves playing a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial markets by ensuring they operate fairly and effectively.
Key tasks include conducting market surveillance, gathering intelligence to identify risks, assessing compliance with regulatory requirements, analysing market activity and providing guidance on technical issues. You will also undertake research and contribute internal advice and reports on regulatory matters.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential risks.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and gather information necessary for informed decision-making.
Experience in financial services, risk management or analysis is required. A deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including the Corporations Act and Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) conditions, is essential.
You must be able to interpret complex data and apply it to regulatory matters. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are crucial for success in this role.
