Podcast Producer Opportunity

We seek a highly skilled Podcast Producer to drive the implementation of a podcast-first strategy, positioning our program as a leader in Indigenous media.

This role involves creating engaging content that speaks to existing audiences and reaches new audiences on digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in podcast and radio production in a leading editorial role.

The successful applicant will be proficient in multi-tasking, collaborating closely with our team, and possessing excellent communication skills. As a pivotal role within our Audio Content department, you will play a key part in shaping our podcast strategy and driving its success.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a podcast-first strategy for our program, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and engagement.

  • Collaborate with our team to create engaging content that resonates with our audience and drives brand awareness.

  • Source and develop new ideas, formats, and partnerships to expand our podcast offering.

  • Maintain strong relationships with our team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of the following skills and qualifications:

  • Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience in podcast and radio production, including scriptwriting, recording, editing, and post-production.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
