Early Childhood Service Director

About the Service Director Role
The Service Director is responsible for supporting the service in driving and delivering quality early childhood education and care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding business operations, including children's needs, families, compliance, staff management and development.
- Prioritising and taking accountability for the environment aesthetically, educationally and culturally.
- Leading and encouraging creativity, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Driving the service to meet and exceed national quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A minimum diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current approved First Aid Certificate/Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Sound understanding of developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Previous management experience in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working collaboratively with early childhood professionals.
