About the Role

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused High Voltage Electricians to join our team at various sites across the Bowen Basin.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment such as CAT 777, 793, Liebherr, and Komatsu.

Rosters available are 7/7 days only or 7/7 rotating day/night dependent on site.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HV switching, with experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repairs to a broad range of fleet
  • Mobile Maintenance on Extra Low Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Voltage equipment
  • HV (RADIAL) and LV Isolations
  • Following scheduled planned / breakdown maintenance and carrying out inspections on equipment as required
  • Execute work orders as per schedule and to a high standard
  • Completing inspections and repairs as per the maintenance strategies
  • Scoping and creating notifications for preventative work

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Australian recognised trade qualification (Electrician)
  • HV Switching would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels, and auxiliary equipment
  • CAT, Letourneau, Liebherr, and Komatsu experience would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience within mining is essential
  • The ability to work within a team environment and build effective working relationships
  • Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. SAP)
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail and procedure
