Role Summary

CHC Helicopters is seeking a Crew Planner to join our team in the Perth Corporate Office on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning pilot training, including booking travel to simulation training, and assisting with crew travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage rosters for CHC Australia Operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and third-party vendors to coordinate crew training.
  • Ensure crew members assigned to contracts are qualified to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and manage rosters, ensuring their accuracy and compliance.
  • Be fully conversant with the Flight Risk Management System (FRMS) and associated work practices.
  • Process allowances and claim reimbursements in accordance with the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA).
  • Ability to work remotely and after-hours, including weekends as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Experience in a similar role and/or in scheduling or planning is beneficial.
  • Ability to engage strong relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Experienced in maintaining accurate, timely, and comprehensive reports.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to drive change and recommend process improvement initiatives.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach within a dynamic business environment.
