Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Waterproofing Consultant to join our Remedial and Facades team. As a Waterproofing Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking waterproofing and weatherproofing design, field work, reporting, and advisory work to ensure technical standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake waterproofing and weatherproofing design, field work, reporting, and advisory work to ensure technical standards are maintained.
  • Work directly with clients to balance design and complete advisory work requirements within budget.
  • Draft written fee proposals to clients that satisfy client and project requirements.
  • Collect the necessary information to carry out work effectively to a specific standard ensuring client satisfaction and project completion.
  • Adopt a proactive and responsive customer service attitude, maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Background in trade, sales, or a technical background in the waterproofing of structures or from the construction industry.
  • Project management and technical ability/knowledge across all aspects of waterproofing and weatherproofing.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Understanding of standards and legislation within the Building Sector.
  • Developed investigative engineering and assessment skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • High level organisational, coordination, and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
