We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roof Plumber to join our team. As a Roof Plumber, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofing systems, including tiles, metal sheets, and shingles, in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair roofing systems: Ensure that all roofing systems are installed and repaired to the highest standards, meeting industry requirements and regulations.
- Conduct inspections: Regularly inspect roofs to identify and diagnose any issues, such as leaks or damaged materials.
- Measure and cut roofing materials: Accurately measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions and shapes, ensuring a precise and secure fit.
- Install and maintain roof plumbing components: Install and maintain gutters, downpipes, and flashing to ensure that water is properly directed away from buildings.
- Work with various materials: Construct and repair roofs using a range of materials, including metal, plastic, and concrete.
- Collaborate with other professionals: Work closely with builders, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of roofing systems.
- Apply waterproofing techniques: Utilize waterproofing techniques to prevent water penetration and enhance the longevity of roofing structures.
- Utilize hand and power tools: Use hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment, to complete roofing tasks efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment and prevent accidents.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications in roofing or a related field.
- Experience: Possess a minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Be proficient in accurately measuring and cutting roofing materials, and possess meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
- Communication skills: Possess effective communication skills to understand project requirements, convey information to team members, and interact with clients.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
