Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects in the electronic trading space, focusing on the development of a high-performance Interest Rate Swap (IRS) platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building components of the eIRS trading platform, including UI development for trading workflows and integration with MarkitWire for Straight Through Processing (STP).

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with senior engineers and quants to implement core pricing models and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build components of the electronic Interest Rate Swap (eIRS) trading platform.
  • Develop RFQ state machines, pricing event wiring, and override messaging logic.
  • Contribute to UI development for trading workflows and integration with MarkitWire for STP.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and quants to implement core pricing models and analytics.
  • Maintain and enhance microservices built with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Utilize Agentic AI tools to support and accelerate engineering efforts.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams in a squad-based delivery model.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Java (Essential)
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST APIs (Highly Desired)
  • Proficiency in Angular (UI engineering) (Essential)
  • Experience with Agentic AI tools in software development (Essential)
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies (Essential)
  • Interest in financial markets and trading systems (Essential)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) (Highly Desired)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Highly Desired)
