Environmental Liabilities Expert

We are seeking an Environmental Liabilities Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for providing technical advice on closure strategies, cost estimating, and implementation across various sectors.
The role involves supporting clients in managing their asset closure strategies and costs, as well as assisting our financial assurance teams in assessing the reasonableness of closure plans and cost estimates.
You will need to clearly communicate your findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes developing and maintaining strong working relationships with business decision-makers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Knowledge of cost estimating/modelling for the closure/rehabilitation of large resources assets.
- Understanding of common asset closure techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Able to understand complex risks associated with asset closure.
- Tertiary degree in a related field, preferably Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Finance.
- Excellent project and time management skills, written and oral communication skills.
