Personal Care Assistant
Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily living needs of our residents, including personal care and hygiene, daily living tasks and mobility assistance, and emotional wellbeing and companionship.
You will work in a warm and inclusive environment, where you will have the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Our ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for aged care and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to older South Australians.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to residents as per their individualised care plans
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Support residents with mobility and transfer requirements
- Offer emotional wellbeing and companionship to residents
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care – or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience in an aged care setting
- A genuine passion for aged care and enhancing quality of life
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
