I hold a qualification which allows me to support people with the skills I have.Skills Required:- Own transport to travel to clients homes (can travel up to 25-30 minutes)- Qualification (Cert III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support or Disability) or Nursing students- Available at least 3 weekdays per week, some weekend work available- Strong empathy and compassion towards others- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team- Cleaning experience, reliable and attention to detail- Ability to remain calm under pressure- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the social care industryResponsibilities:As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily activities, such as personal care, cleaning, cooking, laundry, social support and assisting with shopping and appointments1.
Provide direct assistance to clients with home duties and possible personal care2.
Assist clients with maintaining a clean-living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.3.
Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.4.
Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.5.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions including observations made during visits or shifts.6.
Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or well-being7.
Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.Qualifications:1.
A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance2.
Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)3.
First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred4.
Qualification - Cert III or IV Individual Support or Aged Care or Disability (Nursing students encouraged to apply)5.
