Job Title: Gardener (Bridgeman Downs)

At Aveo, we're seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at Bridgeman Downs Retirement Village. As a key member of our community, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the village's beautifully landscaped gardens and grounds.

As a Gardener, you'll be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our gardens, including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching, and green waste removal. You'll work closely with our residents to ensure their gardens are well-maintained, presentable, and safe for all to enjoy.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7am to 3pm. If you enjoy being outdoors, take pride in garden and lawn presentation, and enjoy chatting with others, this is an ideal opportunity for you.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all village gardens, including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching, and green waste removal
- Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
- Carry out preventative groundskeeping tasks around the community as per schedules
- Complete additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by the Community Manager (e.g., driving our minibus on occasions)
- Build strong relationships with our residents and help them live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

What You'll Bring:
- A warm and caring personality with an interest in making a difference every day
- Experience in gardening duties (highly desired)
- Current police check certificate (required, but if you don't possess one, we can complete it for you)
- Valid driver's license (required). Bonus points if you have an LR license
- Two COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
