Home to 180+ independent retirement living units & apartments, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens and grounds throughout the village. Working closely with our residents, you will ensure our gardens are well-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy. If you enjoy being outdoors, take pride in garden & lawn presentation and enjoy chatting with others, this is a great opportunity for youThis is a permanent part-time opportunity working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7-3pmYour Impact:Working with the fellow Gardeners to maintain all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removalEnsure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitorsCarry out preventative groundskeeping tasks around the community as per schedules Complete additional adhoc tasks delegated to you by Community Manager (e.g drive our minibus on occasions)Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.What we offer:$28.96/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances All tools and supplies provided Paid Parental Leave options Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance ProgramDiscounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providersOpportunities for further career progressionBe part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living communityWhat you'll bring:A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day Experience in Gardening duties (highly desired)Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)Valid driver's licence (required).
