Role Overview

The role of Senior Conversational AI Architect at Auto & General is to drive innovation and growth within the company by leveraging the power of data analytics and conversational AI. You will be at the forefront of architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge conversational AI solutions, contributing to a data-driven culture that enhances customer experiences, optimises business processes, and ultimately safeguards a brighter future for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement high-value conversational AI solutions that leverage emerging technologies.
  • Gain hands-on experience in developing and deploying scalable conversational AI applications utilising large language models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and lead the implementation of tailored conversational AI solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Undertake data analysis and data engineering to extract valuable insights from vast data holdings, informing decision-making and optimising key processes through conversational AI capabilities.
  • Provide solution architecture advice and contribute to the ongoing development of technical and engineering practices specific to conversational AI.
  • Lead initiatives from concept through to completion, taking ownership of end-to-end execution and ensuring successful deployment of conversational AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in computer science and information systems.
  • Proven track record of leading real-world AI projects and teams within large and complex data environments. Experience with conversational AI technologies e.g. Dialogflow CX, highly desirable.
  • Passion for machine learning and a strong desire to specialise in conversational AI, including Generative AI applications.
  • Hands-on experience analysing structured and unstructured data using SQL.
  • Proficiency in Python or other programming languages. Full-stack development skillset highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation frameworks / technologies, including GCP Workflows, AWS Step Functions, etc.
  • Experience in architecting, building and deploying high-performance data analytics solutions in cloud-based environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing monitoring and evaluation pipelines to provide oversight and business confidence in quality of AI/ML outputs.
  • Ability to shape and execute work plans in a self-directed manner under limited direction, specifically in the context of data analytics initiatives involving iterative development and experimentation.
  • Collaborative spirit with a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
  • A positive mindset, can-do attitude, and personal drive to take initiative in advancing conversational AI solutions.
