Cyber Security Leader Job Description

The role of Cyber Security Manager involves overseeing the organization's cybersecurity program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.

  • Manage a team of cybersecurity experts and lead cybersecurity activities to protect organizational assets and data from cyber threats.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity-related engagements with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to address security concerns and requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize cybersecurity initiatives, developing strategic plans for their delivery within agreed timeframes, employing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to safeguard critical assets and data against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address cybersecurity gaps, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to cybersecurity teams, helping them to stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years experience managing a security team in a large enterprise.
  • 7+ years experience working in areas related to cyber security, such as Security Operations Centres (SOC), auditing, security architecture, regulatory affairs or public sector agencies involved in cybersecurity management.
  • A deep understanding of at least two of the following areas - application security, network security, platform security, cross-domain solutions and cryptography.
