Bus Operations Manager

We are seeking a Bus Operations Manager to lead our bus services team. As a key member of our operations management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our bus network.

This role involves coordinating bus and employee operational movements, scheduling in line with safety and compliance regulations, and managing fleet allocation to meet client expectations. You will also ensure the availability of fleet at each operational depot is sufficient to meet service demands.

You will work closely with our maintenance team to coordinate and schedule maintenance requirements, including defects, planned servicing, and inspections. Your ability to multitask, problem-solve, and communicate effectively will be essential in this role.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a complex operational environment, preferably in the transport or logistics industry. You will possess strong planning and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate bus and employee operational movements for scheduled bus services and routes.
  • Schedule in line with all necessary safety and compliance regulations.
  • Liaise with workshop personnel to coordinate and schedule maintenance requirements.
  • Manage and allocate fleet in line with compliance requirements to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure availability of fleet in each operational depot is sufficient to meet service demands.
Requirements:
