Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tenure Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in tenure management and knowledge of relevant mining legislation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple projects in Western Australia, providing key inputs and tenure advice into the development of large-scale projects in the Pilbara region.

The role will be based in Perth, Monday to Friday, with flexible work options considered.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory requirements under the Mining Act and Land Administration Act, including payment of rents and submission of expenditure reports.

You will also deliver specialist tenure advice and contribute strategic insights to support the planning and execution of development projects, advising on land access and tenure requirements during project development phases.

Additionally, you will secure tenure and land access approvals for complex projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with project timelines.

As a Tenure Manager, you will contribute to coordinating team activities, supporting the delivery of outcomes through effective collaboration, coaching and guiding team members, while engaging across the business to build strong working relationships and share knowledge.

You will review the tenure portfolio, including expansion and growth requirements and provide advice on strategies for long-term tenure retention and security.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in tenure and land management.
  • High-level skills in stakeholder engagement and verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Evidence of managing accurate records and documentation.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
  • Experience in a similar role in mining, energy or infrastructure projects.
