Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality patient transport services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting patient transfers while delivering exceptional care and support.
This role requires strong self-direction, initiative, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful patient transfers. In return, we offer opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient transfers with compassion and empathy, adhering to qualifications and scope of practice.
- Follow operational directions to ensure efficient and timely services for all customers.
- Maintain accurate records of transfers using our customer booking system.
- Support student clinical placements and facilitate supervising them as needed.
- Perform vehicle cleaning and maintenance tasks according to our operating procedures.
- Meet customer contractual KPIs and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
You will be a caring individual who prioritizes dignity and respect in patient care. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is essential.
Qualifications & Skills- Certificate III Non-emergency Patient Transport or higher qualification.
- Certificate IV Health Care, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, or Bachelors of Paramedical Science are highly regarded.
- Unrestricted C-class driver's license and safe driving record.
- Current working with children check and national police clearance.
- Vaccination compliance with government guidelines for healthcare workers.
- Physical fitness to provide patient transport services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to relate to diverse backgrounds and cultures.
