About The RoleOur company is seeking an experienced Coal Quality Specialist to manage daily and weekly coal blending requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop daily and weekly blend plans;
- Collaborate with other mining processes;
- Identify and outline risks / opportunities in the schedule;
- Work collaboratively with departments to ensure coal uncovery schedules align with blend requirements;
- Execute coal plans and schedules in the field with Coal Mining Supervisors;
- Liaise with Logistics and Marketing teams to manage production requirements; and
- Complete coal quality reconciliations.
To be successful, you will have a tertiary education in Engineering or Geology. You will have demonstrated experience at a coal mining operation and an understanding of coal quality value drivers.
