Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Data Centre Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the facility management team with day-to-day operations of the data centre.

As a Data Centre Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with customer equipment installations
  • Attending to Remote Hands requests
  • Provisioning customer supporting infrastructure
  • Monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure
  • Resolving facility incidents in a timely manner
  • General facility maintenance and upkeep
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude
  • Basic knowledge of data centres, data cabling and cable management
  • A passion for learning about data centres and how things work
  • A TAFE Cert III in Telecommunications (desirable but not essential)
