AFL Recruitment is excited to present a unique opportunity for an experienced Construction Litigation Lawyer to join our client, a progressive and modern law firm with a flourishing construction litigation practice.

Salary:$70,000-$220,000+ Bonus per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious litigator to take full ownership of their files and manage their own clients. As one of the key members of the winning litigation team, you will relish the challenge and rewards of your role, working on a variety of construction disputes including:

  • Adjudication Applications under the Security of Payment laws,
  • Enforcing statutory rights to payment of Payment Claims,
  • Breach of Contract claims,
  • Defective workmanship and breach of statutory warranties,
  • Delay and liquidated damages claims,
  • Disputes in relation to Residential Building Contracts, and
  • Recovery of unpaid Progress Claims and Retention Sums.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience in construction/commercial litigation, with strong drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills. You should be highly adaptable, client-centric, deadline-driven, and results-focused, with outstanding people skills and ambition to accelerate your career long-term with an employer committed to your success.
