Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team at Myer. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will provide strategic financial advice and support to key stakeholders, driving business growth and financial success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial modelling and business case support to key stakeholders
- Review post-implementation benefits to assess project effectiveness and communicate results
- Analyse financial data and results to educate the customer business unit on opportunities to improve profitability and strategic decision making
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and analysis, and value-add on day-to-day duties and processes
- Deliver monthly customer performance reporting, metrics submissions, and commentary for the Board and EGM, as required
- Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders to build detailed budgets and forecasts for the Customer business unit
- Undertake presentation of monthly results and forecasts to key stakeholders, and highlight key risks and opportunities
- Seasoned experience in a business partnering role
- CA or CPA qualified or similar, with previous experience in a Commercial Finance environment
- Previous experience in Retail, eCommerce, or a similar diversified sector is a bonus
- Strong Excel modelling skills with experience working with large data sets
- Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- A positive approach to challenge and change, with the ability to be agile and adaptable
