Job Title: Adventure Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adventure Leader to join our team. As an Adventure Leader, you will play a key role in leading and motivating the navigation and engineering team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership, with experience in training and development. You will be responsible for identifying and initiating training opportunities, as well as managing and developing all Master logs and systems.

You will also be required to promote, assess, and participate in WHS practices, aid in management of incidents and emergencies, and contribute to the overall internal audit program. Additionally, you will coordinate with the workshop in relation to maintenance, and coordinate refueling and hull scrubbing schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the navigation and engineering team
  • Drive training and development for all team members
  • Identify and initiate training opportunities and performance management
  • Manage and develop all Master logs and systems
  • Promote, assess, and participate in WHS practices
  • Aid in management of incidents and emergencies
  • Contribute to the overall internal audit program
  • Coordinate with the workshop in relation to maintenance
  • Coordinate refueling and hull scrubbing schedules
Requirements:
  • Master V (MED II) qualification
  • Senior First Aid and Advanced First Responder qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and cooperatively
  • High level of computer literacy
