We are seeking a dedicated and customer-driven delivery professional with a manual car licence on a casual basis to work within food service distribution. You will be required to work weekday, early morning and on call with a rotating roster.

Job Overview

This role involves the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of orders to customers in the Perth area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick-up and deliver orders to customers in a timely manner.
  • Perform tasks according to safety procedures.
  • Use geographical knowledge of the Perth area to optimize routes.
  • Provide excellent customer service and work with a sense of urgency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A full manual car license with a good driving record.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • A smartphone with proficient knowledge of use.
  • The ability to work under pressure and as a fast learner.
Desirable Attributes
  • Availability to work outside regular hours, usually 6am starts.
  • A team player with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well-organized and punctual.
  • A National Police Clearance Certificate is preferred.
  • A pre-employment medical including a drug test is required.
  • Knowledge of basic fatigue management.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Professionalism and focus at all times.
  • Reliability.
  • An exceptional work ethic.
  • Ability to work on call.
