Security Role Opportunities - Become a Defence Industry Professional. Seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Security Officers in the Defence sector. This fast-paced and challenging role offers you the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience in asset protection, customer service, and crisis management. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for observing activities associated with asset protection, monitoring CCTV footage, and providing first aid when required. You will also be required to conduct foot patrols throughout the premises and provide exceptional customer service through proactive, professional, and sound approach. Additional requirements include but are not limited to: maintaining accurate records of all incidents, liaising with Police & Emergency Response Services, and conducting risk assessments to ensure the safety and security of personnel on base.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation and grooming
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
- Develop and implement strategies to improve security protocols
- Provide training and coaching to junior staff members
- Monitor and report any breaches or near misses

Apart from strong analytical and problem-solving skills, we are seeking candidates with relevant qualifications and licenses such as Certificate II in Security Operations and security license, current First Aid and CPR certificate, open driver's license, and Australian Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
